Photovoltaic Request for Proposal

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community Development Corporation (CDC) is pleased to announce the release of its updated Photovoltaic Request for Proposal (RFP), which officially opens for proposals on October 1, 2026.

The CDC is seeking qualified solar contractors and development partners for photovoltaic installations on Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Reservation lands at the Community and Government Center, 483 Great Neck Road South, Mashpee, Massachusetts.

The project includes opportunities for photovoltaic development at:

  • Community & Government Center Parking Lot – canopy-mounted photovoltaic installations utilizing WholeTree structures, anticipated in the approximately 500 kW range and designed to be microgrid-ready.

  • Pow Wow Field – photovoltaic integration with WholeTree canopy structures surrounding portions of the Pow Wow grounds.

Respondents may submit proposals for one or both project areas. The Tribe's objective is to advance its energy sovereignty goals while developing renewable-energy infrastructure that supports the Community and Government Center's electrical load and future energy resiliency capabilities.
