Our Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department has launched a new online Johnson O'Malley (JOM) form and is asking eligible Tribal families to complete one form for each child.
JOM helps support the educational needs of Native students through cultural and language activities, academic support, enrichment, and other opportunities that help our children succeed. The information our families provide also helps our Education Department understand how many eligible students we are serving and what kinds of programs our children need.
Completing the form really matters. JOM funding is tied to eligible student counts, so every form helps make sure our Mashpee student count is accurate and strengthens our Tribe's ability to bring resources back to our children and families.
Even if your child is not taking part in a JOM-supported activity right now, please complete the form. Having an accurate count helps us plan future cultural, educational, and academic opportunities for our young people.
The new Google form replaces the previous application and can be completed online. Families are encouraged to submit one form for each eligible child ages 3 through 12th grade.
For questions or help completing the form, contact Imani Frye with our Tribal Education Department at 508-477-0208 ext. 166 or imani.frye@mwtribe-nsn.gov.
