The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe is seeking Preliminary Price Proposals from qualified Engineering Firms to provide Engineer Services associated with design and construction of sanitation facilities for residential onsite wastewater treatment systems meeting Title V requirements for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. These sites are to be constructed within the tribe’s Purchased/Referred Care Delivery Area (PRCDA). The PRCDA for the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe is specific to the following Counties in the State of Massachusetts; Barnstable, Bristol, Norfolk, Plymouth, and Suffolk Counties. The residential onsite wastewater treatment facilities are to be constructed using funds received through the Indian Health Service Housing Program. All Engineering Services will be subject to Davis Bacon requirements. The Tribe is Tax Exempt.

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Council passed a resolution at a September 30th Tribal Council Meeting supporting former Vice President Joe Biden for President of the United States, marking the first time ever the Tribe has supported a presidential candidate.

These notices shall satisfy two separate but related procedural requirements for activities to be undertaken by the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will accept sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for the Construction of its new Childcare Center located at Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649.

Today the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 7608 - a package of appropriations bills - that also includes an amendment that protects the land of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.

H.R. 7608 provides funding for a number of federal agencies for the next federal fiscal year (FY21), and includes a key amendment introduced by Congressman Joe Kennedy III and Congressman Bill Keating. The amendment was presented last night and approved by the full House of Representatives.
