The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe invites the community to take part in Orange Shirt Day: A Day of Reconciliation on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Community members are invited to gather for a rally from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Mashpee Rotary, in front of Smitty’s Ice Cream and The Picnic Box. A potluck social will follow from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Mashpee Wampanoag Community Center.
All are welcome. Please come and enjoy drumming, dancing, food, and time together in community.
Everyone is encouraged to wear an orange shirt to the rally, or wherever you go on September 30, to show support for Indigenous children and families whose lives were forever changed.
