The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Election Committee has certified the results of the September 13, 2026 Ethics Commission Election.
The election was held during the General Membership Meeting at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government and Community Center to fill three vacant Ethics Commission member seats.
The certified results are Edward Avant with 30 votes, Teddy Hendricks with 27 votes, and Sharae Miranda with 26 votes. A total of 39 voters participated in the election.
Edward Avant, Teddy Hendricks, and Sharae Miranda were elected to serve as Ethics Commission members.
The Ethics Commission supports the Tribe’s ongoing work to uphold ethics, accountability, and responsible Tribal government. Kutâputush to the Tribal citizens who participated in the election, to the candidates who stepped forward to serve, and to the Election Committee for carrying out this important process.
