Tribal Operations Closed Monday & Tuesday. Community and Government Center Open as Warming Station
Due to a pending winter storm with high winds and heavy snowfall, Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Operations will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center is open as a Warming Station for anyone who needs a warm and safe place during the storm.
Indian Health Services (IHS) will also be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
First Light Casino will be closed on Monday.
Tribal families are strongly urged to check in on Elders and others who may be vulnerable and, if possible, move them to homes with generators and support before the storm arrives. Travel may become extremely difficult—if not impossible—during the peak of the storm, so please make plans as early as you can.

The National Weather Service is forecasting a significant winter storm for Cape Cod with strong winds and heavy snowfall, with the most severe conditions expected during the peak of the storm. Please plan ahead, secure loose outdoor items, limit travel if possible, and be prepared for potential power outages.
