The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Natural Resources Department, in partnership with the University of Rhode Island, is seeking proposals from qualified caterers to provide lunch service for a Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Talking Circle on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
The selected caterer will provide a complete lunch, beverages, and dessert for approximately 75 people. The event will be held at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Community and Government Center Gym, located at 483 Great Neck Road South in Mashpee. Lunch must be fully delivered, set up, and ready to serve by 12:00 p.m.
Proposals should include a sample menu with a lunch entree, side dishes, beverage selections, dessert, and any vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or allergy-sensitive options offered. Proposals should also include a lump-sum price for catering approximately 75 people, including food, delivery, setup, service supplies, taxes, fees, and any other anticipated costs.
Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal citizens and Native-owned catering businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
Proposals are due by Friday, August 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Proposals should be emailed to jsteiding@hotmail.com with the subject line: NRD Talking Circle Catering Proposal.
