Tribal citizens are reminded that the 2026 Ethics Commission Election will be held on Sunday, September 13, during the General Membership Meeting.

The election will fill three vacant Ethics Commission member seats. The certified candidates scheduled to appear on the ballot are Edward Avant, Sharae Miranda, and Teddy Hendricks.

Voting will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government and Community Center, located at 483 Great Neck Road South in Mashpee.

This election follows the timeline previously shared with the community, including the August certification of nominees and the distribution of nominee information ahead of the election.

Tribal citizens are encouraged to review candidate information and participate in the September 13 election.
