Thank you to everyone who helped support our community through this unprecedented blizzard. During the storm, the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center served as one of the few warming stations on Cape Cod—providing shelter, warm meals, and a safe place for Tribal members and neighbors from across the Cape. We were also grateful to welcome the linemen and crews working long hours to restore power throughout the region.
The warming station will be closing today at 4:00 PM.
Before we close, we have an abundance of food boxes, prepared meals, beverages, and water available for pickup for anyone in the community who could use them. Many items were generously donated by local restaurants, World Food, Roche Bros, and other partners.
If you would like to pick up food or water, please come by before 4:00 PM.
We came together as a community and worked together as family to get through this storm. Please continue to stay safe and check in on Elders, neighbors, and those who may still need support.
