Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Indian Education is accepting bids for Phase I of our upcoming Youth Muhsh8n Project. The project will teach Native tribal youth how to make a muhsh8n from start to finish by using modern technology and the use of fire. Interested persons must have experience working with youth and pass a CORI background check.
Phase I
Provide documented proof of prior experience working and supervising native youth.
Provide documented proof prior experience building a traditional muhsh8n.
Include itemized costs of purchasing and transporting a 12-foot-long white pine log onsite to Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe powwow grounds.
Include cost of prepping and safely securing 12-foot log onsite for youth to participate in program.

The Indian Education Department will accept bids beginning May 1, 2020 until May 8, 2020.
