The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department would like to acknowledge and thank the individuals, families, and organizations whose generous contributions have supported scholarships for Tribal youth. As scholarship opportunities begin moving forward again through the Education/JOM Parent Committee, we take this time to honor those who have helped make these opportunities possible for our students and families.
Wunee keesuq, relatives,
It has been almost 4 years since the last scholarship was awarded. With the Education /JOM Parent Committee now intact, we again have opportunity to utilize the small pot of funds designated for scholarships. Look for announcements over the coming months.
Seequan (Spring) often prompts one to reflect on the past, take stock of the present, and look forward to how we can shape the future. In that spirit, Tribal Education would like to thank those individuals, societies, and entities that have so generously donated to the scholarship of our tribal youth. These scholarships make a lasting impact by supporting pursuit of academic excellence, cultural preservation, and community leadership. On behalf of our students, families, and the tribal community, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the following individuals and organizations for helping our youth turn their aspirations into reality.
