Assistant to Treasurer

Job Title: Assistant to Treasurer

Salary Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour - Depending on Experience Deadline to Apply: Open until filled

Summary: Assistant to the Treasurer supports the Treasurer by receiving and tracking financial reporting by different finance departments, communicating & tracking directives from the Treasurer as it relates financial & compliance activities, performing clerical duties related to the Treasurer’s office and facilitating internal & external communications related to the Treasurer’s office as requested by the Treasurer.

Manager of Tribal Operations

Job Title: Manager of Tribal Operations

Status: Full-time Exempt with benefits
Salary Range: $70,000-$86,000

Summary: The Manager’s primary responsibility will be the oversight of day to day Tribal services, departments and programs. Manager will work closely with Department Directors in fulfilling all grant requirements and reporting on a timely basis as well as providing services to the Tribal community. The Manager will work closely with Human Resources providing necessary information for new hires, fires, promotions and position changes.

Professional Transportation Driver

Job Title: Professional Transportation Driver
Location: Mashpee Tribal Offices incl. Maushop Farm, 213 Sampsons Mill Rd., Mashpee
Reports To: Transportation Coordinator
Department: Public Works
Status: Non-Exempt. Full-time 35 hrs/wk.
Salary Classification: $19.16/hr.

Summary:  The professional Transportation Driver operates tribal vehicles transporting tribal members to and from scheduled medical appointments or other activities, such as tribal meetings. Driver performs the responsible safe operations of a handicap accessible, Ford Econ-line 450, 13 passenger van. The professional Transportation Driver conducts this service in compliance with all applicable MWT/MA DOT regulations, and avoiding damage to equipment or passengers, with respect for his/her own personal safety and the safety of others on the road. He/she ensures (tribal citizens) customer service commitments and Tribal administration service targets are achieved, and protects the integrity and security of the passengers at all times.

Victim Services Program Advocate/Administrative Assistant

Job Title:  Victim Services Program Advocate/Administrative Assistant
Location:  Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe (MWT) – Business Offices
Reports To:  OVC Program Director
Department: Homeland Security
Status:  Full-time, Non-Exempt
Salary: $40,000-$45,000 yearly based on experience and grant funding

JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time position based on OVC grant funding. The Victim Services Advocate shall be responsible for day-to-day client services, including assessing needs of victims, advocating for victims, upkeep of client cases and victim safety planning. The Advocate will meet the basic needs of the victim (food, clothing, shelter, transportation, etc.), counseling and issuing referrals to outside agencies. Shall share in the coverage of a 24/7 hotline phone. Will coordinate with law enforcement as necessary. Participate in monthly awareness events and community outreach activities. Provides culturally appropriate services and engage in follow-ups. Advocate will have administrative duties during unneeded advocate hours. Administrate work can or will be many of the below assignments: keeping record of all expenditures’, and updating them on the financial spreadsheet, submit payment request through financial software, attend meetings and training by internal and external agencies and organizations as needed, order both office and program supplies, help set-up and organize events.
