Education Department Requests Johnson O’Malley Applications from Tribal Families

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department is asking all eligible Tribal families with school-age children to complete a Johnson O’Malley Student Application for each child.

The Johnson O’Malley Program helps support educational programs and services for Tribal youth. Information collected through the application process helps the Education Department plan for and pursue funding that can support educational enrichment, cultural programming, academic support, and other opportunities for our students.

Families should complete one form for every enrolled Mashpee Wampanoag child ages 3 through 12th grade who attends public school. Please note that students who are homeschooled or attend a private school are not eligible for this program.

Every completed form matters. The number of eligible students reported can directly impact the resources and funding available to serve Tribal youth. Even if your child participated in a previous school year, a new form must be completed. Families who have already completed a form for the 2025–2026 school year do not need to submit another one.

Completed applications may be dropped off at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Government Center, mailed to the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department at 483 Great Neck Road South, Mashpee, MA 02649, or emailed to the Education Department using the address listed on the application or imani.frye@mashpee-nsn.gov.

For questions or assistance, please contact the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department at 508-477-0208 ext. 166.
