The Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project continues to hold community language classes for enrolled tribal citizens and family members who live in their household. Details on their Beginner Workbook Class that begins on on January 28th are listed below.

NOTE: All learners must be enrolled, or a household member of an enrolled, citizen of: Assonet Wampanoag; Aquinnah Wampanoag; Herring Pond Wampanoag; or Mashpee Wampanoag

What: This is a workbook class is for those who are new to learning about the language or those who want a workbook brush-up.

When: Every Sunday starting on January 28th, 2025 until April 13, 2025. Time 12PM - 1PM.

Where: Meeting at: In-Person at: Ricketson Nature Center located in Brooklawn Park (1911 Acushnet Ave., New Bedford, MA 02746)

Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this class.
