Housing Applications Available for Mashpee Wampanoag Village
The Mashpee Wampanoag Housing Department is now accepting applications for the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Housing Project that will be located at 184 Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee. Applications are available online by clicking here and have bee included with the print version of the Mittark.
Tribal Members that are seeking low-income housing in the Mashpee Wampanoag Village should complete the application as soon as possible. Applicants must meet qualifications and certain income guidelines.
Mashpee Wampanoag Village Update on March 11
The Mashpee Wampanoag Housing Department will host a presentation with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) consultant, Lorna Fogg, to give tribal members an opportunity to learn about the Mashpee Wampanoag Village. The presentation will be given at the General Body Meeting held March 11 at 2:00 PM at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center.
Mashpee Wampanoag Village Event for Elders on March 27
The Mashpee Wampanoag Housing Department will host a meet-and-greet elders’ luncheon with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) funder, Raymond James, Inc. The event will be held on Tuesday, March 27 at 12:00 PM. The event is collaboration with the Title VI Program Director, Donald Peters. The focus of the event is to assess the need for tribal housing. All tribal elders are welcome to attend.
