Mashpee Indian Health Services will be offering a four-week diabetes program. The diabetes program will begin on Monday, March 11 (program held each Monday) from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. at the MSU Administration Building located directly behind the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center.
The four-week program will provide education, support and skills to effectively achieve diabetes control. Controlling blood glucose level is the cornerstone in reducing or preventing secondary complications.
The goal of the program is to improve health status and life quality through effective self-care management and is open to all tribal members and families.
