Elissa Lopez Receives COVID-19 Pandemic Heroism Award

RN Elissa Lopez received the COVID-19 Pandemic Heroism Award from Indian Health Services (IHS) in November.

The 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic Heroism Award was created to recognize exceptional, dedicated work and selfless responses in the face of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. This award recognized that the service Elissa provided advanced the IHS mission and vision through work focused on the aims and objectives in the IHS COVID-19 Action Plan:
