On November 21, 2025, Yo-Yo Ma will perform Bach’s complete suites for solo cello at Boston Symphony Hall presented by Celebrity Series. This is more than just a concert: it’s also a coming home, Yo-Yo’s first performance of the complete suites since the Bach Project, which brought this music to 36 communities on six continents and asked people everywhere how culture connects us.

This one-night-only event is a reflection of all the ways that culture helps us build trust, seek truth, and act in service, and a celebration of the people and organizations around the world — and right here in Massachusetts — working to imagine and build a better future.
