The Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants gives out two $1500 scholarships annually to Wampanoag students, in recognition of “the Wampanoag Nation’s assistance to our Pilgrim ancestors.”
These scholarships can be used at any accredited nonprofit college or university in the United States. Applications are due by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30th. Please contact Education Director Roxanne Mills Brown at roxanne. brown@mwtribe-nsn.gov with questions or concerns.
