Wôpanâak Beginner Workbook Class
NOTE: All learners must be enrolled, or a household member of an enrolled, citizen of: Assonet Wampanoag; Aquinnah Wampanoag; Herring Pond Wampanoag; or Mashpee Wampanoag
What:
This is a workbook class is for those who are new to learning about the language or those who want a workbook brush-up.
When:
Every Sunday starting on November 24th, 2024 until January 26th, 2025. Time 11AM- 12PM.
Where:
Meeting at: In-Person at: Andrea McCoy Recreation Center, New Bedford, MA
Prerequisite:
There is no prerequisite for this class.

Wôpanâak Inanimate Intransitive Workbook

What:
This is a workbook class for those who want to learn how nouns are possessed in the Language.
When:
Mondays at 7:30-8:30PM
Beginning on December 16th, 2024 and finishing on March 3th, 2025.

Prerequisite:
Beginner Workbook and Noun Possession Workbook are prerequisites for this class.

Indian Education is partnering with WLRP and offering a ‘Wôp only, no English’ language class.
When:
Every Friday morning at 10:15AM starting on November 15th, 2024.

There is no prerequisite for this class.
