Lorraine Reels-Pearson New Acting I.H.S CEO

Lorraine Reels-Pearson is an enrolled member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe. She is the daughter of Joanne Frye, Charles R Foster Jr. and the granddaughter of Milton Frye and Marjorie Hendricks Duarte. She is a mother of 4, and grandmother of 7 beautiful grandchildren.

In her 13-year career with Indian Health Service, she has provided leadership and management to multiple departments and healthcare programs serving in various roles. She currently is the Nashville Area Business Office Manager/Coordinator and the Acting CEO of the Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit.

Prior, Lorraine has served as a Program Analyst for the Phoenix Area Office, IHS, the Acting CEO, Unity Youth Regional Treatment Center, IHS and the Business Office Manager, Mashpee Wampanoag Health Service Unit.

Lorraine is a proud graduate of the IHS Leadership Training Program and strives to enhance quality of care and building American Indian and Alaskan Native’s healthcare system capacity through strengthening partnerships, increasing resources, promoting excellence in customer service and transparency.
