The tribe’s annual Herring Day celebration will take place on Wednesday, April 17th from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM at the Mashpee Indian Museum. All tribal members and their families are welcome to attend. The event will include family fun activities, fishing, singing, dancing, herring ceremony, and more. Free lunch will be provided to all. Participants are asked to wear weather appropriate clothing, waterproof boots, and are encouraged to bring a fishing net. Questions can be directed to Kitty Hendricks at 508-477-0208 Ext. 143.
