A gathering of Aquinnah and Mashpee Wampanoag Artists is taking place on Saturday, October 14, from 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM at the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum. The gathering will host discussions and activities to reflect on experiences as Native artists. Conversations will range from the contemporary challenges or obstacles being faced in Native crafts, to shared efforts to connect, learn, and teach with other Native Artists, and more themes. Lunch will be catered by Sly Fox Den, and each artist will be mailed a $150 stipend for their participation.

This gathering is open to Aquinnah and Mashpee Wampanoag artists in Massachusetts, and community members are welcome to share this invitation with others who meet this criteria until spaces are filled.
