The National Day of Mourning is taking place on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Cole's Hill, Plymouth, Massachusetts, at 12:00 PM sharp. There will be a march through the historic district of Plymouth followed by a community social. An annual tradition since 1970, the National Day of Mourning is a solemn, spiritual and highly political day. Many participants fast from sundown the day before through the afternoon of that day.
