The tribe is hosting an Indigenous Pathways in Education workshop through the State Tribal Education Partnership (STEP) grant. Teachers, counselors, and school administration are invited to attend and learn about Indigenous peoples’ experiences within the education system and best practices to support Native youth in school. This event is free and those in attendance can acquire professional development points (PDPs).
The workshop will take place at the tribe’s Community and Government Center on Wednesday, August 16th from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Participants are asked to register in advance here. For more information, please contact:
