2022 Powwow Recap

The annual Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow returned last month after being canceled for the past two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The 101st annual powwow, with the theme of Honoring the Four Directions, took place on July 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Invitation to Bid

Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Housing Department is seeking bids from qualified contractors for residential rehabilitation located in Mashpee, MA. 

A pre-bid conference will be held at the residential site August 15th at 2pm. All contractors looking to submit a bid must attend.

For more information, please contact trevor.carrington@mwtribe-nsn.gov. Upon request, the bid package including the location, time and scope of work, will be emailed. Native American preference will be given to contractors within 10% or less of the lowest bid.

AISES Stem National Conference

The Education Department will take up to five students to the AISES Stem National Conference. The event will take place from October 6-8 2022, in Palm Springs, CA. The three-day event focuses on educational, professional, and workforce development for Indigenous peoples of North America and the Pacific Islands in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) studies and careers.
