NYCP Organizing Trip to Native Food Sovereignty Summit

Tribal students have an amazing opportunity to attend the Food Sovereignty Summit being held September 23-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Travel and arrangements are provided through the NYCP program, NYCP grant funding and the Tribe’s Education Department. The Food Sovereignty Summit is the national forum for sharing and collaborating to build healthy food systems within Native American communities. Students will have an opportunity to attend workshops, general sessions, food tastings and networking events that focus on strengthening tribal sovereignty.
