The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Natural Resources Department is seeking bids from qualified caterers to provide Traditional Wampanoag lunches for the “Native Youth in Science: Preserving Our Homeland” Summer Science Camp. Lunches will serve approximately 35–40 people per day and must be delivered to multiple locations in Mashpee and Falmouth (a detailed schedule will be provided upon contract).

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, through the Mâseepee Cultural Council, extends heartfelt thanks to the Mass Cultural Council for its continued investment in Indigenous arts, culture, and community-based storytelling. We also express deep gratitude to our state legislators and the Massachusetts Legislature for supporting the arts through annual appropriations that make these opportunities possible for Tribal communities across the Commonwealth.

Important Storm Update

Due to a pending winter storm with high winds and heavy snowfall, Mashpee Wampanoag Tribal Operations will be closed on Monday and Tuesday. The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center is open as a Warming Station for anyone who needs a warm and safe place during the storm.

In accordance with 2024-ORD-001, Code of Ethics, the Tribal Council has scheduled the General Election of three (3) ethics commissioners. This Sunday, (3/9), during the General Body Meeting, is the deadline for those who were nominated to serve on the Ethics Commission to submit their Letter of Interest and reasons to be elected to the Commission. Information must be submitted to Secretary Landry at talia.landry@mwtribe-nsn.gov.

At the General Membership Meeting scheduled for this Sunday, March 9th, 2025, nominations will also be taken to fill the Tribal Council vacancy created by the resignation of Councilman Nelson Andrews Jr.
