The community is invited to learn more about the Mashpee Nine and the fight to protect the Wampanoag right to beat the drum. The screening will share the story of the 1976 law enforcement raid on Tribal drummers at Mashpee Pond and the lasting significance of this moment in Wampanoag cultural justice. Chief Earl Mills Jr., Paula Peters, and Talia Landry will be available for a question-and-answer session following the film.

Donations will be gratefully accepted for the Mashpee Wampanoag Native Environmental Ambassadors, a Tribal youth program dedicated to protecting all living beings.
