This evening workshop will explore Tribal sovereignty from a national to local perspective and invites Tribal citizens and Tribal household members interested in deepening their understanding of Indigenous governance, rights, and community self-determination to learn about:
The history of Tribal sovereignty
Contemporary examples of sovereignty in action
What Tribal sovereignty means for our lives as Indigenous Peoples
This workshop is funded through a grant from the Mâseepee Cultural Council, a local Tribal agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council.
