Honor the Earth Fair Returns in April 2026

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, in partnership with the Native Land Conservancy and the Tribe’s Natural Resources Department, invites the community to attend the 2026 Honor the Earth Fair on Saturday, April 18, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community Center, 483 Great Neck Road South in Mashpee. This free, public event celebrates the Earth and brings together exhibitors, artists, educators, and community members who share a commitment to protecting and preserving the ancestral homelands of the Wampanoag people. The day will open with an Opening Ceremony led by Chief Earl Mills Jr., followed by a variety of activities for all ages.

Highlights of the fair include Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers, Indigenous-led nature walks, cultural craft vendors, and children’s activities. Attendees are also invited to take part in the Taste of the Earth Contest, a plant-based cooking challenge sponsored by WCAI, open to everyone from novice cooks to local chefs. Space is limited, and advance registration is encouraged.

The Honor the Earth Fair offers an opportunity to learn, connect, and celebrate Indigenous stewardship of the land while enjoying culture, food, and community. All are welcome to attend and take part in this meaningful day of reflection and celebration.
