Honoring Our Herring

Please join the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Education Department, the Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project and Mashpee Indian Museum for family fun, activities, singing, dancing, fishing, and more at the annual Honoring Our Herring event. The family event will be held at the Mashpee Wampanoag Indian Museum on Wednesday, April 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

This is a free event and lunch will be provided. In addition, please wear weather appropriate clothing, waterproof boots, and bring a fishing net.

The event is free and open to all Wampanoag youth and families. All youth must be accompanied by an adult (no drop offs). For more information, please contact Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Indian Education Department at (508) 477-0208 ext. 143.
