Education Department Offers Emergency Assistance for Students Impacted by Covid-19

The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department is reaching out to all tribal students (PK – Post-Secondary). Did COVID-19 impact ongoing, conventional, education experiences? Call now, if you or someone you know has experienced any of the following!

  • Information Technology is not available, but required, to engage in and maintain Pre-COVID-learning opportunities with an accredited institution (e.g., college, tech school, Elementary/Secondary institution)

  • Pre-COVID-19 Coursework/Class is disrupted, discontinued, dropped due to being displaced from school and/or residence; school-related rent assistance, formal academic tutorials, supplementary academic services needed to fill the gaps

  • School supplies including, but not limited to, pencils, markers, construction, copy paper, and poster board; baskets, binders, needed to organize work in one area, to accommodate the Home Setting.

  • Credit Recovery; the opportunity to redo coursework or retake a course through alternate means—and thereby avoid failure and earn academic credit, due to COVID-related interruptions.
