Our Tribal Elders celebrated the holiday season with this year’s Elders Christmas Party held at
the Community and Government Center. The festive gathering included a meal catered by Chef Sherry Pocknett, music, raffles, and good company for all to enjoy!

Various community members came together to ensure this party was a success, and the Planning Committee would like to highlight their generous contributions.

Thank you to Buddy Pocknett for providing the chowder, the Youth Council for their time and hard work, Sherry Pocknett and Donald Peters for preparing the food, the fishermen who went out and got oysters, the maintenance staff, all of the donors who provided financial contributions, and to every person who volunteered their time to make this happen.

The committee would also like to thank the tribal elders who entrusted them to host this event.
