Kutaputush! The Clan Mothers want to thank Miss Toodie, Eleanor Coombs, for recent attendance at the meetings where she shared some lessons in our Wôpanâak language. It certainly was inspiring and one of the many ways the gathering is culturally enriched.
Clan Mothers meet every Sunday at 10:30 am at the Mashpee Wampanoag Museum until warmer weather will allow for meetings to return to the sacred circle at 55 Acres. All tribal members are welcome, men, women, and children. Discussions focus on traditional aspects of our tribal community and politics are discouraged.
