Cultural Nights at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

Cultural Nights at the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Community and Government Center will continue through June. Cultural Nights usually have a different cultural theme (Cornhusk Doll making, Wampanoag storytelling, quahog stuffer making, etc.) including MC, singing and dancing. The themes are typically announced on the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Education Department Facebook page.

The upcoming schedule is:

  • February 20th 6-730pm, Thursday Night Cultural Night

  • February 28th 5-730pm, Friday Night Social

  • March 5th & 12th 6-730pm, Thursday Night Cultural Night

  • March 19th & 26th 6-730pm, Thursday Night Cultural Night/Dance Practice 

Cultural Nights/Dance practice will become every Thursday night starting March 19th, focusing on singing, dancing and regalia making.  These Thursday dance practices will run until June 25th, to prepare tribal community members of all ages for the Mashpee Wampanoag Pow Wow and the 2020 Pow Wow season. 

These events are always open to all members of the Community and the drum circle is always open to all serious singers, beginner or experienced.  Food/snacks will be provided.
