Invitation to BID: Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe Early Childhood Center
The Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe will accept sealed bids from qualified General Contractors for the Construction of its new Childcare Center located at Meetinghouse Road, Mashpee, Massachusetts 02649.
The project scope consists of the construction of a new Childcare Center on tribal lands. The new building will include 4 classrooms, office support area a multipurpose room and other support spaces. Approximate square footage is 5,300 s.f.
Contractor pre-bid “Walk-Thru” at the site is scheduled for October 5, 2020 at 11:00am, EST. Attendance at this pre-bid conference is strongly recommended but not mandatory for parties submitting a bid. It will be the only opportunity to visit the site prior to the bid opening.
Bids will be received until October 13, 2020, 2:00 pm, EST via one of the following methods. Mailed bids are the preferred method of delivery.

A Letter of Intent is anticipated to be provided within two weeks (14 days) after receipt of bids.
Construction start is expected October 2020.
Substantial Completion is proposed (tentative) August 15, 2021.
Contractor needs to be familiar with procedures required for the purchase of material and equipment for tax exempt entities and TERO procedures.
The bid will be for: Stipulated Sum as described, as called for in the specifications, indicated on the Drawings or as reasonably inferable from either or both, including allowances as described herein.
