Powwow Dates Announced
This years 103rd annual Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow will take place from July 5th, 6th, and 7th on powwow grounds. The Powwow Committee is still looking for volunteers who are interested in helping coordinate this years event. Health Insurance Enrollment Support
The tribe has teamed up with the Community Action Committee of Cape Cod and Islands to do a Health Insurance Enrollment at the Community and Government Center once a month. There will be trained navigators to assist tribal members in one-on-one meetings with applying, shopping and enrolling in a health insurance program.

New Education Website to Release February 12th
A new website has been created for the Education Department and will go live on Monday, February 12th. The site will help better promote education-related events, programs, services, and opportunities to the community. The site was built with parents, students, and teachers in mind and has resources for all to utilize.
Free Girls Glam Camp April Vacation
GLAM Camp will take place from April 15th to April 19th at the Community and Government Center. GLAM GIRL , the Global Local Athletic Movement, started with the vision of creating equity in sports. By combining sport practice, leadership training and service projects, GLAM GIRL creates more opportunities for young women and girls to play sports
Culture Classes Held Monday Nights

Unfortunately, because we are out of the US for winters I was not able to attend the Elders Meeting regarding the issues /concerns of what is going on at the cemetery. I did express some of my concerns and points that I would have made before you all if I were present to Aaron Tobey at our Christmas Luncheon as I left Cape 12/21.
