Wampanoag tribal members have been working on a play entitled “We Are The Land” that they will perform in Plymouth, England. A section of the play is dedicated to covering the events that took place during the infamous Woodlot Riot. On Saturday, April 8th, they will perform that section of the piece at the Old Indian Meeting House. There will also be a reenactment of the adoption of William Apess into the tribe. All are welcome to attend.
