Alternative feeding methods
Father and family support
Historical trauma and parenting practices
The connection between food sovereignty and breastfeeding/lactation

This training is open to Indigenous people from the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe and men and women from other Tribal communities. Funded by a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the training will be led by Camie Goldhammer, founding executive director of Hummingbird Indigenous Family Services, and Kimberly Moore-Salas, a lactation consultant at Maricopa Integrated Health System.
