The Wôpanâak Language Reclamation Project (WLRP) is offering two new language classes this fall – an introductory conversational skills class and an Intermediate Immersion class. Both classes will begin on November 14 and will be held in the Summerfield Park office at 800 Falmouth Rd Unit 307 C Mashpee.
INTRODUCTORY CONVERSATIONAL SKILLS
Come speak your Language! -- No experience needed! You will learn how to:
Introduce yourself and others
Name common items
Discuss the weather
Play board games and card games in the Language
Role play (visiting, etc.)
Build your conversational skills through these interactive courses featuring small group games, activities and discussion.
