All funds raised from the Soup Bash will benefit the Alice May Lopez Memorial Statue Fund. The committee is raising $100,000 to create a life-sized bronze statue in memory of Alice May Lopez who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 49 in 2011. Alice was the founder and first director of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s Housing Department.
