COVID-19 Homeowners Assistance Fund (HAF)
The HAF program is on a first come, first serve basis until all funds have been exhausted. Maximum funds available per assistance is $2,000. Applicants can apply once every 12 months until the program ends on September 30, 2026 or until funds are exhausted. Any misstatements or omissions in this application may result in the disqualification of housing assistance. Furthermore, if assistance is provided, you may be required to repay all program monies expended on your behalf if such misrepresentations are discovered later. All questions must be answered.
The service will provide a one-time payment to defray mortgage, property tax, and foreclosures up to $2,000 for Mashpee Wampanoag tribal members across the United States. This service cannot pay applicants directly.
Applicants must be an enrolled member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe
Please prepare the following documents after applying:
Current mortgage bill or tax bill.
Verification of earned/unearned income from all household members 18 and over (recent 8 weeks paystubs, W-2, SS notice, Etc.).
Social Security cards for all household members.
Tribal ID or Government ID.
You will need to submit this documentation every time you apply.

Social Security cards for all household members
Tribal ID or Government ID
Release of information (provided by MWT Housing Department)
